PUBLIC NOTICE
To Tatou Vai (TTV) is installing water meters across Rarotonga, with work currently underway in Titikaveka and progressively moving towards Arorangi.
As part of this work, we are also updating our records to make sure we know where water connections are located, who they belong to and how they are being used.
We are asking landowners and occupiers to help us identify water connections on:
· vacant sections;
· agricultural plots; and
· properties that are not regularly occupied or where the water connection is not regularly used.
If you have a water connection at one of these properties, please contact TTV and let us know who owns or occupies the property and/or who uses the water connection.
Where the owner, occupier or user of a connection cannot be confirmed, TTV may need to cap and bury the connection as part of managing and maintaining the water network. If this happens, a notice will be left clearly visible at the property so the owner or user can contact us.
This exercise is about making sure our records are accurate and helping us manage Rarotonga's water supply more effectively for everyone.
If you receive a notice, please contact us. We will work with you to update our records and determine the appropriate next steps for your connection.
For assistance or to register a water connection, please visit or contact the TTV office in Nikao on 24479, weekdays 8:00am–4:30pm, and speak with any member of our Customer Services team.
Help us manage Rarotonga water, better.
Meitaki.
